Extensive testing with Tour professionals influenced every detail of the new Ghost Spider S - one of the most stable putters TaylorMade has ever created. In addition to its new, tour-inspired shape, the Ghost Spider S is revolutionary in terms of control and feel, delivering an off-the-charts MOI measurement of 6,030 -- dramatically higher than previous TaylorMade mallets like the Ghost Manta (4,900) and Corza Ghost (3,830).
The exceptionally high MOI makes Ghost Spider S extremely stable on off-center hits, and it also makes it easier to control the head and square the face to the ball at impact, a key benefit that has been consistently called out by the Tour pros who have put it in play.
The multi-material head (aluminum and steel) combines a white-colored steel-frame perimeter and top-line with a new, tour-inspired, non-transition black crown. The contrast between the white leading edge and black crown makes it easier to focus your eyes on the topline, making it easier to aim accurately.
In addition to the standard hosel, the Ghost Spider S is also available in a Tour-inspired "short slant" hosel designed for the player who swings on an arc. Unlike the standard hosel, which promotes a straight back-straight thru swing path, the short-slant is toe-weighted to broaden the scope of players who can benefit from the performance characteristics of the Ghost Spider S.

Added big grip and can't miss. Now wonder Jason is still using it after a couple of years - he never misses Go Taylormade!
This putter is nice. I had to learn to forepress but I can putt with anything really, as I spend hours on my putting weekly. I like the line on top. Very sturdy and feels like I ram putts in more than with other putters. Very accurate. I have yet to play a round with it, but I am certain I will drain many on the course.
Head cover lost due to poor quality
Paint easily chip off. Just use it in the practice mat for 2 days (1 day with the transparent plastic cover) and saw the paint immed chipped off. Saw it in 3 areas of the putter. Attached photo is just one of them. Not sureif this will rust later.
Good Putter, bad paint quality. Just received the putter 2 days ago and practicing with it for 2 days (1 day without removing the transparent plastic and 1 day without plastic cover). After hitting less than 10 balls without the plastic cover, you can see that the paint chip off.
This is the most accurate putter I've ever used. I've used Odyssey,Ping,Yes,ect, and the Spider S beats them all. The combination of a soft face with the ability to adjust the rear weights to 32grams is perfect. The two 2gram weights that come with it are too light, i've added two 16gram weights and this putter is amazing! I would like to comment on the photo showing all the dings on the bottom and top edges. That putter didn't use a head cover, those marks are from irons hitting it in the bag, not putting on grass. All painted clubs will chip from irons hitting it. Use common sense and put on the headcover. I just purchased a backup Spider S just in case someone likes mine just a little too much ;^)) I also love the ATV 56/60 wedges and R11S TP Driver! Nice job Taylormade!
I came across this putter three years ago while waiting on a buddy who was buying a new driver. Started putting with it and the feel, lining up the putt, the smooth roll was all in all amazing! I scooped it up on the spot and have played it solid for the last 3 years! Recently purchased this years model and picking it up today! For the novice or advanced player, this putter is one that should be in your bag. If you looking for a new putter, go test drive this one TODAY!
The chipping on the head of he putter can be an eyesore for some, specially when your investing that kinda money. Performance wise it's great! Hopefully wish that the finishing of the putter can be improved. Will recommend depending on the buyer.
Best putter on the market
I have tried quite a few putters before giving up on my 20 year old reliable putterand this was by farthe best in feel and performance. The feel and confidence level was immediate. Thanks to all the designers for such a fine putter.
